What's it like to work here at Closure Technologies?
The work-life balance is awesome - jobs at closure-tech are interesting and technical, but won't call you on the weekends and the benefits package helps maintain a healthy lifestyle.
What’s the most interesting thing you’re working on right now?
I'm just getting started on a new team working on open source intel, but outside the office I built a seriously zippy paper airplane launcher. Tested it out at the NOVA MakerFaire, and the kids turned it on their dads quite frequently.
What's the best advice you’ve ever received?

What motivates you to work hard?
Finishing up a project and putting it into a nice box for someone to use indefinitely. I work on the applications side, so it feels like I'm contributing as long as people are using tools that I worked on, long after I've started a new project.
What are you passionate about outside of work?
3d printing, making things, kinetic sculpture races, going to death metal concerts.
If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Buzz Aldrin...the moon landing still stands as this planet's most audacious achievement.

Tell us about a recent vacation you have taken
Over the summer my wife and I went to Ireland with a couple of our friends - it was incredibly pleasant and relaxing, even while we visited the cliffs of insanity (cliffs of Moher) and off-shore islands. Saw an amazing amount of the country in a short time; really kind of sinks in how big the US is. Also the water was quite cold.
