Employee Spotlight: Oli Joggi

How long have you been with the company?

As of July 15, 2023, I’ve been part of the Lindt family for ten years.

What was your first role at Lindt and what is it now? What were your career stops along the way?

I started with Lindt & Sprüngli as an intern on the Planning Team. Following that, I embraced the role of Finance Specialist, and today, I'm thrilled to serve as the Sr. Finance Manager for Operations. Over the past decade, I've had the privilege of taking on six different positions in the US and Switzerland, each contributing to my professional growth.

What's the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career at Lindt?

My advice for newcomers is to stay eager and keep an open mind. I've found that growth and progression often stem from venturing beyond the boundaries of your role. Don't hesitate to explore new opportunities, seek out chances to learn, and consider finding a mentor to support your journey.

Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today, and what was the pivotal turning point in your career?

My parents and Grandfather have been my lifelong inspirations. Growing up in Switzerland, I initially thought I'd end up in banking. However, my career took a fascinating turn at the close of 2018. I turned down a role with Lindt USA, opting for global mobility without a clear destination. The period of transition eventually led me back to Switzerland.

What are you most proud of in your career so far?

The trajectory and growth of my career have been truly remarkable. During my time in global mobility, I had the unique experience of being the first person to relocate 'backwards'—starting in the US, moving to Switzerland, and returning to the US.

What is something unique or interesting about you that no one knows?

In addition to my professional journey, I've always had a passion for travel. Having explored various destinations since my childhood has given me a different perspective on life.
