How long have you been at Provivi?

I have been at Provivi since November 2020, which would now be a little more than a year and a half. As my time here at Provivi has increased, I’ve adapted a dual role, working on metabolic engineering and analysis, and now I also support bioprocessing.

What inspires your work at Provivi?

Creating the class of pheromones molecules and their greater impact on sustainable agriculture stems from my passion for lipid chemistry and biochemistry while working with Dr. Joseph Hajdu's research lab, elucidating the mechanism of action phospholipases with synthesized phospholipids. Seeing the actual application of the science we study and conduct in the field, and its more significant impact on the world inspires my work here at Provivi.

What three words describe the Provivi team?

Community, Sustainability, Leadership.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I compete in the sport of powerlifting, which tests your strength in three events: squat, bench press, and deadlifting. I’ve been training and competing in the sport with my friends for the past five years. Being able to spend time with friends and family outside of work is priceless, no matter the occasion.
