Employee Spotlight - Matt Kuhns

His deep understanding of our applications, combined with his commitment to customer satisfaction, has consistently resulted in successful project deployments. How did you get started down your current career path?

I got started on my career path while serving in the Navy. I earned my bachelor's degree in business during that time and got my first taste of project management while working in the hangar bay on an aircraft carrier. After leaving the military, I moved back to Cincinnati and started working at a local hospital. There, I became a medical practice manager, where I learned how to run multiple primary care offices and led a variety of projects both within those practices and hospital-wide.

One of the highlights was working with my provider during a formula shortage, where we focused on educating families and providing alternatives. I also helped strengthen the lactation and first-time mothers workshops in the family medicine residency clinic. Through all of that, I realized I was drawn to the technology side of things—especially when it came to organizing processes and managing implementations.

That led me to get my MBA, and I decided it was time to find a new role that blended my medical background with technology while still impacting patient care. That’s when I discovered the project manager role at Timeless Medical, and I’ve never looked back. I'm really glad I made that decision!

What do you think is the most important skill that a successful professional needs to have in your role?

Communication, communication, communication! It’s the cornerstone of successful interactions, whether in personal relationships or professional settings. Effective communication ensures that everyone is on the same page, minimizes misunderstandings, and fosters collaboration. It’s not just about speaking clearly but also about actively listening, being open to feedback, and engaging in honest dialogue.?

What excites you being at Timeless Medical Systems?

The most meaningful part of my role at TMS is witnessing the excitement from customers as they begin to experience the benefits of the application. Whether during go-live or testing, there's a moment when the system’s value truly clicks for them, and seeing the smiles and enthusiasm this brings to their teams is rewarding. Knowing that I contributed to the process of creating, testing, and implementing this system gives me pride in my work and drives my passion to jump into the next project.

What does your perfect weekend look like??

Saturday: Start the day off with a run or hike in the mountains, taking in the fresh air and scenic views. After working up a sweat, head to the water in the afternoon for some relaxation or fun – maybe a kayaking session.

Sunday: Kick off the day with some friendly competition, either playing sand volleyball or kickball. After a thrilling game, the afternoon is all about enjoying good food, drinks, and laughter, capping off a fun-filled weekend with friends and family.?

What is a dream that you want to make come true one day?

I’ve made it a dream and a goal of mine to experience as many places, landmarks, and cultures around the world as I can. Every destination has something unique to offer, from historical sites to hidden gems off the beaten path. Whether it's the history of ancient ruins (which I love), the energy of city life, or hiking nature in remote areas, I want to immerse myself in it all. Meeting new people, tasting different cuisines, starting to speak new languages, and learning about local traditions are all part of the adventure that keeps expanding my appreciation of the world around me and my time here to experience it!?

What is something unique about you (a fun fact) that few people are aware of???

I’m happy to say that I can still do a cartwheel. It’s one of those childhood skills that’s surprisingly stayed with me over the years.
