Lydia ensures our operations run smoothly while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. We are thrilled to feature Lydia in this month's Employee Spotlight!

What are you most looking to in the future of CFD Companies?

I'm most excited to see how much we grow, in multiple aspects. We are adding on to our existing building to allow for more room for our home office staff. I'm excited to see where recruiting new advisers takes us. I'm excited to grow with our existing home office staff, advisers, and clients!

What's been your most memorable moment with CFD Companies so far?

My most memorable moment was training my big sister in the compliance department. She moved back home and was ready to start working with the fam! I had so much fun training her during her first few months!

What is your favorite part about working with the CFD Family?

We have the nicest people here! You can go to anyone for help, and they are ready to assist you. We have such a great team!

What are you most proud of in your career so far?

I'm honestly proud of my growth as a person. I've never had a job where I've had to work in teams or within a department. I love working in teams now!

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

I love being able to unwind after a long day with my husband and dog. My dog is a little bit chunky right now, so I have been trying to take him on a walk every day after work. After that, we like to find a new movie or TV show to watch.

What is a fun fact about you that most people in the company don't know?

When I graduated from high school, I thought I wanted to be the local weather girl on TV. I went to Ball State my freshman and sophomore years and was in the telecommunications program with broadcast journalism as my focus. I really did enjoy my classes, but it did not fit my personality. I later switched over to business administration!
