What did you do before working at CFD Companies?

Before joining CFD, I studied New Media, Art, and Technology at Indiana University Kokomo (IUK), where I honed my skills in graphic design, digital illustration, and photography. That experience sparked my passion for creativity and problem-solving through design. At CFD, I'm constantly expanding my knowledge of graphic design and marketing, making every day an exciting opportunity to grow!

What's been your most memorable moment at CFD Companies so far?

My most memorable moment at CFD was when two colleagues and I graduated from IUK, and the company threw a celebration in our honor. It was the moment I realized CFD was more than a workplace - it was a community where coworkers became lifelong friends. I'm truly grateful for the incredible people here who make every day special.

What do you love most about your position?

What I love about being a graphic designer is the freedom to think creatively and solve problems in unique ways. I enjoy collaborating with my team, drawing inspiration from their ideas, and and pushing boundaries to create designs that are both visually appealing and functional. Each project presents a new challenge, keeping work exciting and dynamic.

What's your favorite way to unwind or relax after work?

I really enjoy unwinding from a long day with a warm bowl of chili and watching a good movie with my husband and our 10-month old golden doodle, Bear. Between movie nights and keeping up with a puppy, life stays entertaining and a little chaotic, just the way I like it.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere, Italy and Greece would be at the top of my list. As a lover of art history, visiting Italy has been a dream of mine for years. My family and I love to travel, but the idea of a flight longer than five hours might take some serious convincing; however, I think the promise of gelato just might do the trick!
