When did you start your career in advertising and programmatic media begin?
- "I began my advertising career back in 2003 at Saatchi & Saatchi on the Toyota account. To date myself a bit - this was back when Google paid search was sold on a CPM. Over the years I slowly transitioned more of a programmatic specialist role after I saw how powerful those self-serve search platforms were and seeing similar opportunities on the horizon with online display and video."
How long have you been with Liquid? Which project has been your favorite to work on?
- "I've been with Liquid for over five years on a full time basis, but was a vendor to Liquid for the five years prior to after I co-founded a programmatic agency that Liquid worked with. Liquid was our first, largest and longest client relationship. Eventually Liquid decided that programmatic was something they wanted to bring in-house and I was fortunate that we were able to transition our relationship into that of a full time employee. My favorite campaign to work on was probably Just Cause 3. Not for any real reason...just cause."
What aspects of the gaming industry's future are you most excited about?
- "I really enjoy what we're doing in the CTV space with ACR data. Not only being able to target based on ACR data, but measure conversions using it really brings to life the targetable and trackable digital ecosystem we've all envisioned for years. Using the big screen TV and these awareness driven creatives, but being able to measure their direct results is pretty amazing. The fact that CTV doesn't use cookies is an added bonus."
What is your favorite video game of all time?
- "I'll have to go back to my childhood for this. Playing the 2d side scrolling arcade game Shinobi growing up was one of the highlights of every trip to the local arcade."
