Employee Spotlight: Lee Baker

Q1: What originally brought you to Reliance Partners and how long have you been a part of the team??

I had been in retail management for 16 years and decided I needed a change. Eddie Mercado, VP of Sales Development, had been telling me about a great company he joined, and I finally decided to go for an interview. I spoke with Jason Coleman and Ashley Hammonds, then put my notice in the next day. 7 years later, it remains an exciting and rewarding adventure.

Q2: What does a typical day look like for you in your role and what do you most enjoy about it?

Working to make sure our teams can access what they need and making sure we're not clicking on the bad stuff. Putting out fires before most people know they are there.?The thing I enjoy most is the average day is a new challenge and it keeps me on my toes.

Q3: What's the most bizarre help desk request you've ever received?

It’s a tie. “The toilets aren’t flushing” or “We have ants”.

Q4: What are some items on your desk that you couldn't work without??

Coffee! And various tools and miscellaneous parts nicknamed The Frankenstack.

Q5: If you could have a superpower that only works in the office, what would it be and how would you use it?

Forcing people to reply to their support tickets. It would make a lot of people's lives better.??
