We recently had the pleasure of catching up with Gisell Perozo, to learn about her journey and career path in the Customer Support team. Her inspiring journey is a testament to the incredible opportunities and experiences that is waiting for you at bet365! ??

Gisell, can you share your journey and role at bet365?

I began my career at bet365 as a Customer Account Advisor (Spanish), where I focused on providing excellent customer service to our customers. Over time, I developed strong communication skills, a deep understanding of our products and services, and cultivated a passion for helping customers. I also had the opportunity to work closely with other team members to improve service quality and contribute to process improvements.

My experience helped me develop professionally and after a couple of months I became Customer Services Team Leader, then Supervisor and now, Deputy Manager. As a Deputy Manager at bet365, my journey has been both challenging and rewarding; always striving to improve processes, employee engagement and customer satisfaction.

Working at bet365 has enabled me to develop my leadership skills, deepen my understanding of the online gambling industry, and contribute to the company's success. I am passionate about helping our customers and proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to innovation and excellence.”

What do you enjoy most about your role and team?

"What I cherish most about my role as Deputy Manager is the opportunity to lead and support a dedicated team. Mentoring and guiding team members, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally is incredibly rewarding. I take pride in seeing their progress and successes, knowing that I’ve played a part in their journey.

I also love the dynamic nature of the job. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to solve problems and improve our processes. The collaborative environment at bet365 allows me to work closely with various departments, fostering innovation and ensuring we provide the best possible service to our customers. Overall, the combination of leadership, problem-solving, collaboration, and being part of a forward-thinking company makes my role as Deputy Manager both exciting and fulfilling."

What challenges do you face in your role?

“One of the most challenging aspects as a Deputy Manager at bet365 is balancing the diverse needs of the team while ensuring we maintain exceptional customer service. This requires effective time management, strong leadership, and the ability to handle various issues simultaneously. Another challenge is addressing and resolving conflicts whether within the team or with customers, it can be demanding. It requires excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to find fair and effective solutions while maintaining a positive work environment. Despite these challenges, I find them to be opportunities for growth and improvement. They keep the role engaging and rewarding, as overcoming these obstacles ultimately contributes to the team's success and the company's continued excellence.”

What training did you receive?

“As a Deputy Manager at bet365, I received comprehensive training to ensure I was well-prepared for the role. The training program covered various aspects crucial for effective management and leadership, such as leadership and people management, customer service excellence, product and service knowledge, regulatory compliance and technical training. Overall, the training provided by bet365 has been thorough and instrumental in equipping me with the skills and knowledge needed to excel as a Deputy Manager. “
