What brought you to AGL Group, and what keeps you motivated in your role?

First and foremost, the people, but also the willingness to pay attention to the small details which can add up overtime if left unchecked and has been something overlooked at previous stops along my journey so far. I keep motivated knowing that every day I’m making progress knowing that nothing can stop me from doing so except myself.?

What experience or achievement are you most proud of?

Without naming the account, I landed one of the largest accounts for a previous company I worked for, that others before me had tried and been unsuccessful.?It showed me that a little respectful persistence can lead to good things.

How do you see logistics evolving in the next five years, and what excites you about those changes?

I think relationships will be just as important in 5 years as they are now.?The difference so far is the amount of data that exists and how it is being used to allow shippers to make more rational decisions as to how their freight is being moved.?

What is one thing people might not know about your role?

Contrary to what I was hired for or what my title says, I don’t actually do sales.?My role is to create conversations and poke the bear to find out what a shipper actually needs and how our company does or does not fit into that equation.?

Outside of work, what are some of your passions or hobbies?

I workout every single day and love to do indoor cycling (spinning).? I read at least one book a month, go to the movies, and travel for sporting events, particularly tennis and Villanova basketball, which is my team (yes, it helps that I do not have kids).

Which one of our core values resonates with you?

Integrity is the most important thing to me.?One of my own core values even before joining AGL is to do what you say you’re going to do.?It forces me to follow through on my commitments and gives me pause before doing so to begin with so as not to hold someone else back because of an inaction on my part.?
