Employee Spotlight: Isen Pathio

We checked in with one of our Carrier Sales Representatives, Isen Pathio to learn more about his role at U.S. Xpress Logistics .

What gets you up and excited in the morning??

Life, plain and simple. I believe in good energy and that every day is truly a blessing. I do not want to waste a minute dragging my feet through this life. I would rather get up each morning and accomplish the most I possibly can.

What does an average day in your role look like??

My average day consists of keeping up with my dedicated freight, making sure loads are picked up and tracking. I then tend to attack the spot freight on the board, seeing what loads my regulars can take. Throughout the rest of the day, I begin prospecting for future dedicated options and make calls on loads I do not normally have carriers for.

What is something your teammates don’t know about you?

I am a collector of trading cards (Pokemon, basketball, football) and metals (gold,silver).

When given the time, I still competitively play video games.

When I was 10 years old, I won a mental math competition among all other fourth graders in my school’s region. I moved on to a city-wide mental math competition, where I placed fourth overall (first among all fourth graders in the city). ?

Who is your role model? Why?

My father is my role model. I could go on and on about why he is, but to put it simply, he is the living example of what a dad should be. He has always given the time and effort to make sure my brother and I were raised right, and I just hope I can be the same role model for my son.?

Tell us your favorite thing about Xpress Technologies culture:?

My favorite thing about the Xpress Technologies culture is the togetherness that is displayed on a day-to-day basis. Simply feeling respected and having supportive leadership are just a few things that really make me comfortable to log on to work daily. ??

What are you passionate about? ?

My family. I am all about their happiness and the comfort of their future. Their presence is my daily motivation, and I am dedicated to ensuring they are as secure as possible. ??

How has your role at Xpress Technologies evolved?

When I started in March of 2021, the market was lively, and it was easy to pick up a call and book a load. Lately, I feel like I have been looking more at the future and trying to set myself up for success down the road. I feel like I have become a strong voice for our team and plan on keeping it that way.
