What's it like to work here at Closure Technologies?

Working at Closure Tech feels like being part of a close knit family of friends. Each day is filled with collaboration and laughter as we face meaningful challenges together. It’s a place where my contributions are valued, and I get to work alongside people who feel more like family than coworkers.

What’s the most interesting thing you’re working on right now?

I get to learn about new cloud technologies as they are released and continually improve our architecture and build more resilient, scalable, and performant geospatial systems.

What's the best advice you’ve ever received?

You can’t juggle everything. Determine what is most important for you and your team to keep in air, and let the nonsense drop.

What motivates you to work hard?

Knowing that my efforts contribute to the safety and well being of my family, and the nation as a whole.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

I'm passionate about running, skateboarding, Wiffleball, and spending time with my lovely wife and two boys. I love watching my sons play baseball, and enjoy going to professional baseball games as a family. I enjoy family vacations as it allows us to explore new places and create memories together.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Rodney Mullen. He's not only a skateboarding legend, but also someone who is incredibly creative, resilient, and has a deep passion for what he does. His influence on the world and his ability to continuously innovate and push boundaries are inspiring.

Tell us about a recent vacation you have taken

This summer our family took a vacation to Greece. We started in Athens, where we explored the history of the Acropolis. After soaking in the ancient city, we flew to the tiny island of Limnos, where we spent our days on the beach, unplugged from the outside world. It was the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax, enjoying each other’s company without distractions.
