1.?Introduce yourself and describe your role at M.
My name is David Pergande, and I am the Producer Development Manager at M Financial. My focus is on the growth and development of financial professionals enrolled in M's exclusive Magnet Program. The program is designed to attract elite talent to our Member Firms and provide the guidance financial professionals need in the early stages of their career.
While the Magnet program offers numerous tools and resources, my role is that of a coach and mentor. On a regular basis, I meet with each of our financial professionals one-on-one to discuss topics ranging from goal setting and product knowledge to prospecting techniques and sales strategy. Every coaching session is unique, and I enjoy the dynamic nature of my work. However, seeing our financial professionals grow in real time is what I love most about my role.

M's mission is at the heart of the Magnet Program in every way. In fact, my responsibilities as a coach and mentor can be summed up as follows: To foster the development of Magnet financial professionals so they can help our Member Firms succeed, thrive, and realize their full potential.

My work couldn't be more aligned with M's mission, and that is reflected in everything we do. When a firm decides to add a producer in partnership with the Magnet Program, we aim to understand their needs, expectations, and unique circumstances. We then collaborate with Member Firm leadership on how best to deploy Magnet assets in tandem with those available at the firm level.

3.?What are you most looking forward to in this role?
Over the past 12 years, I have studied each organization I've worked for, always assessing what works well and what could be enhanced. This ongoing journey has shaped me into not just an observer, but an active participant eager to apply these insights. I am grateful for the opportunity to now leverage my experience in a role that truly aligns with my professional aspirations.
The experiences I have gathered from advisor development programs, alongside various sales training programs, coaches, and mentors, have all influenced my understanding of what effective development requires. These experiences have highlighted the limitations in traditional approaches and ignited my passion to create a more impactful program. I am thrilled to be part of a team that is not just meeting but redefining the standards of advisor support.
Looking ahead, I am excited about the prospect of the Magnet Program furthering its status as the gold standard in advisor development. We are on a path to ensure that when early-stage advisors consider their career options, M Financial is the first name that comes to mind — not just as a good choice, but as the best choice.
