Employee Spotlight - Cem Ataoguz

Introduce yourself and describe your role at M.

My name is Cem Ataoguz (pronounced "Gem Ahtaohuuz"). As the Regional Service Consultant for our Member Firm Development team, I am the liaison between internal M teams and Member Firms. I support our Member Firms in various areas, from new hire onboarding to general operational matters. On a daily basis, I coordinate with M’s Registration, Technology and Training teams to integrate new hires into M, so they can be successful in their roles at our Member Firms.

M’s mission is “To help our Member Firms succeed, thrive, and realize their full potential.” How do you work to further that mission?

Regional Member Firm Development teams collaborate with our Member Firms regularly. We advocate for them and serve as their ambassadors within the M ecosystem. By promoting transparency, clear communication, and trust, we enable Member Firms to focus on their primary activities.

What accomplishment during your time at M are you most proud of?

I would say my quick integration to our team and M. This was facilitated by the great teammates I work with, as well as my past experiences with Member Firms. Although I still have much to learn, I was able to hit the ground running.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Variety! In my work, I support Member Firms on a wide range of topics and contribute to various projects within M. With each conversation, I am astounded by people's level of competence and eagerness to share their knowledge. This reinforces my opinion that M remains a differentiator for our Member Firms.
