What is your favorite part of your job?

Every day is a new challenge and an opportunity to grow and learn new things. It is the perfect environment to push my limits and test myself in new areas.

What sets Im-Par apart for you?

At Im-Par, the main focus is on the work that is done. There aren't any excessive formalities that bog down the pacing of the development process, or any demotivating impositions. That is a breath of fresh air for me.

Do you see any trends in the industry that may pose a challenge? How do you see it being tackled?

The main potential challenge in any industry right now is the rise of AI. It has the potential to replace any human tasks from any industry (if given enough time, eventually), but the best possible plan of action is to adapt and leverage it to its full current potential at any given time.

Is there something in particular about your industry that excites you? Why?

It is one of the youngest professions, and thus it is one the most prone to change. Being a part of that change in the early phase is the most exciting aspect.

As your industry is growing and evolving, how do you see your role changing with it?

The heavy labor part of development (coding, bug-fixing etc.) will hopefully be abolished, and the meaning of our roles will be to mainly make design choices and come up with new ideas. That will also mean that coding in itself will not be enough to survive. We should be able to see the bigger picture and actively work towards obtaining the perspective to operate our new positions.

In three words, how would your describe your work style?

Fluid, efficient, purposeful.

What advice would you give to people who are interested in getting into your field of work?

Do not get demotivated by small hiccups, do not get caught up in the impostor syndrome, and realize that there is no end to learning in this line of work.

I love cats and have 2 of them. I get along with them better than I get along with people.
