Employee Recognition and Awards Day 2022
At the employee recognition and 36th founders' day of AMS Inform, which was recently concluded, the reason why employees should be recognized was highly emphasized at the event. The CEO, Mr Santosh Kumar, and Global Operations Director, Mr Sachin Aggrawal, who spoke at the event, emphasized why they are holding such an event. From their speech on the day, here is the information we gathered.
They said the gathering was made specifically to honour the excellent work of the employees for their relentless effort in making the company a sustainable one. They acknowledged their day-to-day efforts to make the company better. And the company wouldn't have been anywhere without them.
While speaking, Mr Santosh Kumar and Mr Sachin Aggrawal said employees are one of the most important assets a business can have. Therefore it’s essential to manage them properly and give them proper accolades. Therefore, the company decided to add a Human Resource department, and today, celebrate some of its high-performing staff and those who have stayed with the company for over four years.
In other words, employee recognition is a form of positive feedback that assures the employee that they’re doing the right thing and isn’t going unnoticed and unappreciated. The benefit of proper appreciation of employees can’t be overemphasized.
First, When employees are appreciated, they are happy, motivating them to do their job properly. This appreciation also tells them to keep doing what they know how to do best. It also tells them they have mastery over a particular field, making them the best fit for their role.
This motivation, in turn, helps to boost the employees’ productivity and attitude to work. It makes them more loyal and improves collaboration and healthy employee competition. It can also be a source of inspiration to the non-winners to put in their best as they could also be the next to be appreciated, giving them a sense of direction and motivation to do more.

Moreover, employee recognition proves to the employees that they are invaluable to the company. Hence, their continued efforts are needed. This act, in turn, makes the employee emotionally attached to the company, therefore, increasing their chances of staying at the company.??
They also recognized the people who have grown with the company over time. This gesture is to thank them for believing in the vision of the company and staying to see it come forth. He said this is to appreciate them and ask for their continued support and efforts
Furthermore, companies have core values like dedication, discipline, punctuality, etc., and they want them to be upheld by their employees. These values can be encouraged by the employers to the employees by providing incentives and recognition for those who practice them.?
When you recognize your employees based on these values, you show how serious you are about these values. And this helps to pass a message to other employees to put in their best towards upholding the company’s values for them to be recognized, making them more intentional about upholding these values in their daily activities in the office.
Employee recognition can come in various forms. It can be a monetary gift, bonus, awarding events, etc. As long as you show your staff that you care about their input into the company.
