We are pleased to introduce Conny Bj?rseth, Warranty Specialist for the Ford F-150 in Europe?

Meet Conny, 41 years old, born and raised in Kung?lv, Sweden, who now resides in a villa with his wife and three children. In his spare time, Conny enjoys hiking and exploring nature with his family.

Conny also has a deep passion for music, particularly hard rock. For the past 25 years, he has played the guitar and sung in various bands. While he no longer performs with bands, he still enjoys playing guitar and singing at private events. His musical tastes range from classic rock to Creedence and country music, reflecting a lifelong love of music inherited from his mother’s side of the family.

From Fixing Toys to Cars

Conny’s career began with a vocational focus on automotive technology in secondary school, leading him directly into the workshop upon graduation. He spent over 14 years working as a mechanic and service technician. Conny then made a significant career shift, joining JOAB as a foreman overseeing two truck assembly lines, focusing on installing cranes and loaders on Volvo and Scania trucks. He also held various aftermarket positions during his seven years there. About a year and a half ago, Conny joined Hedin US Motor, transitioning into his current role as Warranty Specialist.

Conny’s passion for the automotive industry has always been strong. From a young age, he enjoyed tinkering and repairing various items and toys, making his choice to enter the automotive field an easy one.

“When I was a child, I loved taking things apart and putting them back together. It was clear from an early age that I had a knack for fixing things, which naturally led me to the automotive industry,” Conny says.

Being a Spider in the Web

As a Warranty Specialist, Conny shapes warranty processes and procedures between Europe and the USA. His role involves establishing workflows, making warranty decisions, and interacting with customers to meet their needs effectively. Conny finds his job particularly enjoyable because of its variety.

“The most challenging yet rewarding part of my job is resolving complex cases. It’s gratifying to ensure that customers understand our decisions and to find solutions that satisfy everyone involved.”

Conny’s strengths lie in his drive, persistence, and strong communication skills. He is pedagogical, which helps him explain complex processes clearly and effectively.

“I definitely think that my previous experience has taught me to be a so-called spider in the web, coordinating multiple threads and ensuring everything runs smoothly.”
