We are pleased to introduce Alexander Nilsson, a dedicated Head of After Sales responsible for the overall customer satisfaction.
Alexander, a sports enthusiast from Alings?s, Sweden, brings a dynamic blend of passion for sports and a rich professional background to his role. In his downtime, Alexander enjoys bonding with family and friends, often sharing his love for sports with his son, who shares his father's passion for football. When not on the field or slopes, Alexander unwinds with a bit of fishing or hits the gym to stay active.
From sports to automotive
With a fervor for sports like football, golf, and skiing, sports have also been a part of Alexander’s professional and educational path. He moved to the United States for college to study and play soccer. Even though Alexander didn’t play at a level high enough to quit his daytime job, he had fun. Upon returning to Sweden, Alexander furthered his education with degrees in both sports and wellness and sports psychology. Subsequently, he delved into family automotive business, working as Head of Service for a decade before transitioning to roles at Volvo and eventually specializing in Lean Production.
”Coming from a family rooted in the automotive industry, it seemed only natural that I would find my way back with our family business. After a decade as a service chief, my journey led me to Volvo, where I delved into Lean Production initiatives, applying them globally. The international dimension in my role at Hedin US Motor resonates deeply with me, leveraging insights from my time at Volvo to understand market dynamics and dealership priorities”.
Responsible for After Sales across Europe
Joining Hedin US Motor felt like a seamless fit for Alexander, given his diverse background and international exposure. His role encompasses a wide spectrum within After Sales, from homologation to parts sales and warranty management across Europe. Embracing the challenges of his new position, Alexander is eager to leverage his expertise to streamline processes and foster growth within the company.
