I found myself thinking about employee loyalty tonight and discovered this great article about the success of Marriott hotel chain.

The writer makes some very good points about how managers can promote a sense of loyalty between employees and employers and the positive impact it has for everyone. 

We often spend more time at work than we do with our families. It's important to do something you enjoy, with people you like and to foster a sense of community at the office. To me, that's what promotes loyalty.
