Employee Listening?
I have compiled a list of companies with Employee Listening components (one of many Work Tech categories I am trained to analyze) from a mix of proprietary, licensed and curated public data sources. This is not a complete list.?
Components
I do not create static groups of companies based on a fixed, top-down taxonomy like traditional data services do. Instead, I analyze all Work Tech companies in my knowledge base and group them dynamically based on shared solution components.
I have named this group: Employee Listening. Companies in this group offer a wide range of solutions, but they all share components of Employee Listening. The most frequently shared components are: annual surveys, pulse surveys, milestone surveys, conversations, feedback, sentiment analysis, artificial intelligence, insights and action plans.
Group Characteristics
This group features a wide variance in solution orientation and each company in the group may or may not be best described as an Employee Listening solution. Some companies offer only a few of the most frequently shared Employee Listening components (and may be categorized, for example, as an employee survey solution). Some offer all of the most frequently shared components and are most often described as an Employee Listening? or Employee Engagement solution. And some offer an Employee Listening solution that is part of a broader platform (e.g., an employee experience, employee engagement, well-being, continuous performance management, or talent management platform, etc.). This list does not distinguish between companies with different solution orientations. This group of companies, therefore, may be better described as companies that offer employee listening, rather than employee listening companies.
This group also features a wide variance in other factors that are material to market position. For example, Qualtrics is best known as a market research platform focusing on customer, employee and product experience. Mercer is a large professional services company offering consulting for everything from pension plans to employee engagement. SurveyMonkey , as the name suggests, is best known as a self-service survey company. Joyous offers a unique solution that applies AI analytics to conversations and employee feedback to assist with organizational decision making. HappyOrNot offers, among other solutions, a kiosk with smiley-face buttons. This list does not distinguish between companies with different market positions.
Companies that Offer Employee Listening
I have divided the companies below into four sub-groups: Scaled, Growth, Bootstrapped, and Under-the-radar Companies. The companies in this list are not ranked or scored in any way (they are presented in alphabetical order). This is only an abridged list of companies that offer components typically associated with Employee Listening.
Scaled Companies
These companies are among the largest in the group (in terms of employees and/or revenue).
领英推荐
Growth Companies
These companies have strong growth trajectories based on access to investment capital and/or a history of strong growth.
Most likely to go public: 15Five, Culture Amp, Employment Hero, HiBob,?Lattice, Quinyx and Simpplr.
Bootstrapped Companies
These companies have significant market traction with no history of venture funding or private equity.
Under-the-radar Companies
These are pre-funded companies to watch.
