Employee Highlight: Zaupash Akhtar

Meet Zaupash Akhtar, our Quality Assurance Engineer! Zaupash joined our team in 2019 as a Software Developer and has since developed into a QA Engineer. We are so grateful for his attention to detail, communication skills, and easy going attitude. Just look at that smile!

A little bit about Zaupash:

Zaupash was born, raised, and currently lives in Varanasi, India. In 2013, he completed his Bachelor of Technology Degree from the Integral University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Unsatisfied with his thirst for knowledge, Zaupash completed training in the language C# in 2015 before working in IVTech as a software developer for three years. After becoming tired with his day to day work, Zaupash reached out to his friend Anand Gahlot who introduced him to CloudAdvisors.

That day Zaupash contacted Tanmaya Singh and scheduled an interview. He quickly transitioned into the CloudAdvisors corporate culture and began working with the development team. In 2020 after showing off his capabilities in testing, Zaupash transitioned into working as a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Selenium, C# and JavaScript.?

Zaupash is really a Jack of all trades at CloudAdvisors. But currently, you can find Zaupash identifying deficiencies in our code of new models and features.

Inspired by his father's example of kindness, you can always find a huge smile on Zaupash’s face and a question asking how you are.?

What do you like about working at CloudAdvisors?

"We have a lot of support here at CloudAdvisors. Our managers encourage us to make mistakes so that we can learn from them. I am constantly learning everyday. It also means that we can be really creative. For example, outside of my daily tasks I have taken on the challenge of automating our staging environment to help reduce timing in this process with consistent quality of software.?

I love the flexibility we have here at CloudAdvisors. Right now I’m working on a hybrid model where I go to the office maybe twice a week and work the rest of the time from home. I like working from home but I definitely missed coming into the office and seeing friends over Covid.?

I also love my coworkers. Our team chemistry is really strong. We check in with each other every morning and throughout the day and we also all hang out outside of work.”

What do you do outside of work for fun?

“I currently live just outside of the city of Varanasi and enjoy going into the city to go to restaurants, malls, and sometimes the water park when it gets very hot.?

I’m a big fan of long bike rides. Sometimes on the weekends I will bike with team members to Windom waterfall. It's about 100km away from Varanasi. But right now it is quite hot and there’s a lot of humidity which makes it hard to go for such long rides.

I’m also a big fan of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and love to watch with my friends.”
