Employee Connect

Employee connect refers to the various initiatives and programs that companies implement to foster a sense of community and engagement among their employees. These can include things like team-building activities, company-wide events, and communication platforms that allow employees to connect with one another and with leadership.

One important aspect of employee connect is building a sense of belonging among team members. This can be achieved through things like regular team meetings, social events, and opportunities for employees to get to know one another outside of the office. Additionally, effective communication is key to building a strong sense of connection among employees. This can include things like regular company-wide updates, open forums for employees to share feedback, and clear channels for employees to ask questions and raise concerns.

When it comes to employee engagement, you will observe/find many articles around mentoring/coaching/feedback/career development, etc. However there are very few article that talk about, how to do it!?

An employee engagement plan is inevitable these days....especially important post covid era. It enables recognizing the key factors that influence employee engagement, identifying the employees' pain points, and creating customized initiatives to address them.?

There are various ways of employee engagement, but i will discussing today from leadership perspective....

Employees want to have confidence in their leaders and they want to be inspired and engaged by them. They want their leaders to recognize the importance of team members.

Some of the initiatives that we do here #myLifeAtPersistent in connecting to our team.?

  1. Tea with Tejaswinis....Tejaswinis are the female team members...and give them ear to hear about their experience, common learnings, understand how your organization is adaptable to female employees. You can also have women Leadership to address together with unit leadership on monthly frequency?
  2. Chai pe charcha...is including all team members to have candid connect leadership on monthly/weekly frequency with no formal flow or agenda. Share your experience and stories happening on various projects around you.?
  3. Aspiration tracking...focused on top talent and high potential individuals in thier aspiration tracking
  4. Hakuna Matata: All team members of the unit with physical or virtual Fun team connects supported by "BeyondWorkInitiative" Team + Unit HR

Overall, employee connect is essential for building a strong, engaged and productive workforce. By fostering a sense of community and connection among employees, companies can not only improve employee satisfaction and retention but also drive better business outcomes.
