Employee Central Quick Actions
This is a new feature released as part of 2H 2023. Employee Central?Quick Actions can be defined using templates for commonly used Employee Self-Services and Manager Self-Services.
The following use cases are available as part of the current release
Change Chosen Name
Change Contract End Date
Change Cost Center
Change Job
Change Legal Name
Change Location
Change Probation
Change Pronouns
Change Working Time
Promotion
Transfer
View Cost Center
View Job
View Legal Name
View Location
View Marital Status
?Templates need to be configured for each use case.
Configuration steps -
-?????? Enable the Employee Central Quick Actions Under Person,Employment and Worker Type in Manage Employee Central Settings.
-?????? Add permission for admins to be able to create quick action templates in Manage Data
-?????? Assign the permission for the quick action templates in the Employee / Manager role as per the use case.
-?????? Enable the Manage My Data quick action card in Manage Home Page
Examples -
?An employee selects the new “Manage My Data” tile on the home page:
?To view or change information for their reports, a manager selects the Manage My Team quick action card on the home page
For now, the base objects Personal Information or Job Information are allowed. It will be good if in future release other objects like Position will be allowed so that for use case like Change Location, Change Cost centre the object can be selected as Position or Job information depending upon whether these fields are synced or not from Position to Job information.
