Employee Appreciation=Patient Experience

This. This right here is one of the reasons we love what we do. We've shot hundreds of hours of video for the and we have seen some amazing things. Usually those things are about up and coming advances in Healthcare, or internal communications. Recently however we were incredibly surprised to get invited to a "viewing" of one of our projects.

Ashleigh Falls from Cone Health hired us to produce 2 videos about reinforcing procedures for attending to patients. Having worked in the video production industry previously, she was an absolute joy to work with and we just knew this project was going to be amazing. The week of the shoot came and it was very clear she had been communicating effectively with all involved. Everyone was on point, ready, and aware of what was going to be expected of them. Those 2 days were almost flawless!

We've worked with Cone Health many many times and have always been impressed by the people that we get to interview, and this shoot was no different! A few of the folks we sat down with we have spoken to before and we knew that these videos were going to be impactful and would make a difference.

In reality, it's what happened after that will TRULY make a difference. Ashleigh organized a viewing for all involved in the videos, complete with "red carpet", popcorn, and cake! Once everyone arrived and got settled, she began with the presentation and then dimmed the lights and played the videos. Once the videos were finished, the real fun began. Ashleigh brought mini-oscar statues and had a list of awards to give out. Awards like "Biggest Scene Stealer" and "Best Patient".

One of the participants brought her husband to the viewing! This was significant for many reasons, including demonstrating how seriously she took this project and how important it was for her. And yes, she is front and center all dressed up in the picture! Her husband was so proud of her and it showed all over his face as he stood to applaud when her name was called.

So here's the takeaway....... Cone Health and Ashleigh Falls did way more than recognize these amazing folks, they APPRECIATED THEM. The entire event took less than an hour, and yet the love we felt in that room was almost overwhelming. This particular project was centered around patient experience. Considering that topic was one of the metrics for Fortune/Merative Top 15 Health Systems in the country, it is not surprising to those of us here at Safehouse Studios that Cone Health was recently recognized on that list, and that they are the only NC Health System on it!

Patient Experience is a huge deal, and these folks are doing a bang up job making it a huge deal in Central North Carolina. We are honored to have been a part of it!
