Career counsellors may repackage clients to appear more hireable for their job interviews. Career counsellors do not usually help clients to become self-employed or independent contractors. Career counsellors would normally be the most loyal and have the interests of the person who pays them at heart and rarely form a strong connection and bond with their clients.
