Let’s talk about the elephant in the room…Yeah, we are talking about the elephant meme that went viral on Facebook of course. More seriously, let’s address the heavy word ‘DeFiGram.io’ that always leaves an impactful impression — exciting future, it will haunt you!
Talking about the development of DeFiGram.io, the focus for now is on the community management part. There is an exclusive group with the team and community members for the closed beta testing of the app. The wallet would be integrated later in the development; however, the design has been worked on. We are creating the wallet from scratch in order to have full control as we have certain guidelines for user experience.
We will soon share the new APK release of the app outside of our team. We have selected a few active members of the community as part of our Closed Beta Testing group. Participants are asked to share valuable feedback on the latest app development. Currently, we are open to adding more beta testers but are limited to Android users as of the moment. If you are interested in participating, please write to us through our official Telegram group chat.

We are not being so doom and gloom, right? So let’s carry the trend and talk about the light at the end of the tunnel. Did you know that around this time last year, we were so close to launching Empire’s first use case which is now known as the Empire NFT Marketplace?
Almost a year later, we have decided to revamp and redevelop our NFT Marketplace, featuring a fresh design and upgraded features, with more advanced security mechanisms. You probably remember that a few weeks ago, we shared the new UI screens for the NFT Marketplace. The latest upgrade offers an exciting new look, enhanced features, and deep customization.?
Some marketplace features that are widely used–including the user profile, wallet connect, single & bulk upload, advanced search bar, creating a personalized collection, and many more–have been upgraded for a refined functional experience. New visual effects have been added to help the user quickly focus on what matters most, and redesigned user profile section keeps the overall look organized, clean, and stylish.??
The Empire NFT Marketplace will be integrated into DeFiGram.io. Users will be able to trade NFTs within the app. This futuristic integration brings one seamless experience, the all-in-one platform for all the digital collections, with the all-in-one tool for everything DeFi.?
The revamped Empire NFT Marketplace has been built with the users and creators in mind, including new digital well-being. We hope the community and projects enjoy the ability to navigate on the platform with better control and we can’t wait to hear how new projects get built, grow, and thrive.
A SPOOKY SPELL FROM THE MAGE ????
Hi everyone! Lyka here. If you’ve been following Empire, you probably already know me or have at least heard my name before. Sorry to barge in like this. I just thought it would be nice to share a personal experience as we celebrate Empire's favorite holiday.
FUN FACT: Halloween is actually Dulla’s favorite holiday, which is why the team thought it would be fun to do a Halloween campaign. You may notice some spooky changes in our socials in the following weeks so make sure to keep an eye out!
More than a year ago, I created my Binance account. Back then, I only knew a few coins including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple—which are perhaps the top three popular coins in my country at the time. The reason I set up my Binance account is that a friend told me he found a cool Discord group that would help us double or triple our money very quickly.
Now before we proceed, I’d like to note that there are a few scary points in this story. The first of them would be my salary at the time. It was amid the pandemic, and I was working as a digital segment producer for a broadcasting company, earning roughly $500-$600 per month handling two projects simultaneously. Second, I barely had $2,000 in savings in my bank account despite having worked for four years after I graduated from university. Third, I didn’t have any sort of insurance, be it life or health insurance. Despite all this, for some weird reason, I always believed that I would be successful someday.
But wait! We haven’t gotten to the scariest part yet. Going back to the Discord group, we were told by the leader that there is a small market cap coin on Binance that we would collectively pump so that everyone can get rich overnight. Doesn’t that sound enticing? My friend and I were thrilled by the concept so we decided to try it out. We thought, what could happen? Worst case scenario would be not making any profit and just getting our initials back, right? Or so we naively thought.
Soon after the announcement in the Discord group, I deposited $100 to my Binance account, hoping that I could turn it into $200 at the least. My friend and I kept an eye on the group, anxiously waiting for the buy signal. Then, when it finally happened–as soon as I clicked the buy button–my $100 quickly dropped to $80…then $60…$30…$20…and finally sold at roughly $18…all happened within a few minutes. And that, folks, is how I fell into the trap of my first crypto pump and dump scheme. Unfortunately for me, it was all a trick and no treat.
Now, this is not something that I am proud of, but I want this to serve as a lesson to everyone, especially rookies. Do not just believe anything you read on the internet and make sure to DYOR (do your own research).
And this is why Empire is doing what we are doing–because we heard stories like mine. For many people, the first step into crypto was a scary one. Many thought DeFi was only for scammers, or that all cryptocurrencies were scams. But now we’re here to change the game. We are developing decentralized apps to help people get started with DeFi and make informed financial decisions. Imagine an application like DeFiGram.io existed at the time I was just newly exploring the space–it could have saved me from such trickery. At Empire, we aim to break the misconception that crypto automatically translates to scam. Our goal is to make the space safer, less intimidating, and closer to mainstream adoption.
Don’t worry about me. I have made back what I lost and, in fact, got to experience some juicy treats from trading and investing in crypto during the bull market. And despite the current bear market, I am optimistic that soon enough, we will all emerge stronger than ever for the next bull market. Till then, let’s build our Empire together and help ourselves and each other grow. You can trust that with us, there are no tricks, just treats! ??
