Empathy, Impeccability and Being a Hero

Empathy, Impeccability and Being a Hero

Empathy, Impeccability and Being a Hero in our #Podcast from this last week!

** Jamming with Jason: E392 We Can Be Heroes

"We can be heroes for ever and ever, What d'you say?" David Bowie, Changes.

Ever wonder why super hero movies are so popular? Maybe those movies and the song "Heroes" from David Bowie are trying to tell us something.

In this episode we jump into both and discuss how heroes tend to be those we don't even expect, they are all around us making the world a better place, and you just may be one too. Even for one day, we can be heroes... so why not today, and then tomorrow, and then the next day, in our own unique way.

** Walking A Spiritual Path: Ep-88 Being Impeccable

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0ue-wWtlEs

Are the things you think, say and do done with the highest standards of propriety? Are you being impeccable in your thoughts and actions? In this episode we discuss what impeccability means to us and some practical ways we can all be more impeccable each and every day. Following codes of conduct and universal laws to raising our language and using higher words are some practical applications we discuss.

** Audit Discussions: Empathy in Internal Audit

https://criskacademy.teachable.com/p/empathy-in-internal-audit

Does empathy have a place in internal audit?

Absolutely!

In fact, not showing #empathy is one of the biggest #relationships issues when dealing with audit clients, colleagues, and peers.

In this video I share why empathy is so important, how it doesn't affect our independence nor our objectivity, what it really is, and how showing empathy will lead to deeper relationships and trust with others.

Field: Auditing | Delivery Method: Self Study | CPE Hours: 0.5

Have a great rest of your week,
