Empathy Does Not Hold You Back

Empathy Does Not Hold You Back

I recently posted an answer addressing empathy holding you back.

Empathy never holds you back. If someone told you that, they could have probably used more empathy from their listeners.

Coaching skills like empathy, listening, and win-win negotiations are never weaknesses.

Yes, they are mindsets. If you go into a meeting anticipating anxiety, it's probably a good bet that you are going to be anxious.

What if you approached the meeting with a mindset that the professionalism among you and your meeting attendees will confidently allow you to see what happens? What if that's your superpower?

More on my empathy answer here.
