In this trying time, how do you learn to trust?
Are you choosing facts based on the news or you’re choosing the emotions you feel right now?
I would like to say that there are no right or wrong answers here, it totally depends on emotions to trust. What are these emotions and why should I trust it? It can be something that we feel towards the scenario but don’t mistake your feeling on your judgment because when we feel bad and sometimes we still make the wrong decision if we feel happy and become gullible.
Can I be happy during this trying time?
It will be HARD because some good things are not happening around us, this is the kind of emotion that we have to trust. We can’t be happy about these unfortunate things we don’t have control over.
What can you do about it?
Since these things are out of your control, we let it go. We let it go by saying our prayer and regards to them. Try to move and carry on.
Can I be sad during this trying time?
You can, it's normal for everyone to be sad. Trust that emotion because it's telling you the right choice, but what if during this time, I can’t do something which makes me happy?
What can you do about it?
Connect with your loved ones, especially the old ones. They can make you happy or maybe not, but think about these emotions that you will get upon reconnecting with them, it will at least divert your mind from something that you want to do that can make you happy that at the moment you can’t. If this doesn’t work then maybe this is the time to find your school friend and catch up.
We can also have some imbalance in our emotions, and this is the very tricky part, this is the part where we can sometimes take our feelings for granted and this is also the time that we use our emotions to make mistakes.
The human brain is triggered with emotions, in an impulse, you can feel outraged towards something that happened to you, be it good or bad and sometimes the brain processes our reaction based on the emotion we felt. Not all emotions can be trusted. We feel bad we make bad choices, if we feel good we can still make bad choices. So how are you going to do it?
Emotions to trust are something that will make you become a better person.
Decisions made with emotions and proper mind are always the key to your progress and success.
If you are stuck in between, remember that there is a way to make it work for you.
Choosing the right emotions to trust is one of the many things.
Be conscious of your emotions.
Name them with the meaning that it brings to you.
When you can name them, you can also develop the ability to control and balance them
