Emotions are ignored in Business simply because they need much more intelligence efforts than Thinking. Besides they have been kept aside due to misperceptions from board members and shareholders. Usually people prefer to stay away from what they ignore either by fear or lack of willingness to learn.
Especially when they have to change by learning something completely different which might take them to a new place they have never been to or heard much about. As if asking someone from the Alps to go live and work in Saudi Arabia.
Such a move really need a great motivation to make it happen. Leaders with enough courage are the first ones who will adopt EI (Emotional Intelligence) in their organizations not only for the sake of adventures but because of being visionaries.
Leaders can create the real motivation through introducing the change as a status for improvement rather than a mean for change, they tend to understand the willingness of their team on how to adapt to this change while introducing the positive impact on the process of change more than focusing on the change itself.
Through their experience and expertise, Leaders while using their EI they apt more to analyze the strength of their team and work on empowering it, yet not ignoring the weaknesses but more they eliminating the fear with in the team and increase the attentiveness on how to face it with knowledge and understanding.
EI provides leaders with the intuition on how to introduce the change as a healthy process for all team members, without imposing it but introducing it as a sustainable change investment for the betterment of every one.
They are called leaders with EI for many reasons, but they are well known for their excessive adaptation to resolve personal, human and professional cases where others can’t even recognize where the problems have started or comprehend what are the reasons that cause these problems.
