Emotional marketing

Specialists know well how to use different marketing tools. They know exactly how they will work and what will be the outcome. But how to put soul into it? How will your company be the outstanding one? Why customer have to choose you? Main activities and tools used are the same in most companies. 

In order to customer picks you, will be loyal and trust you, you have to add emotional aspect for your marketing strategy. Based in emotions customers see, remember, buy and buy again.

Scientist have defined all the emotional stages, but I don’ t want to speak about them. Just emotions what leads people to make decisions. How customer will see you and admit you are the most suitable for him/her/it.

When you do something, do it with your soul and emotions. Dry practicality is all over us. Don’ t afraid emotions. With neutrality you don’ t stand up. You will be only one among all. For example in mailings: we all get tons of advertising posts with campaign info or dry and very official corporate news. I prefer to get simple, real and honest emotional posts/stories. Real experiences, real disappointments, real successes, real people and their lives. In easy language and thought through pictures and colors. People are not robots – they have feelings and moods. Head and heart are not working separately.

Especially important is to think about it for companies who just starting. First impression is important and they don’ t have this buffer with loyal customers who will buy anyway. So, start with thinking about people with feelings and emotions.

Emotions motivate to act. In order to make right decisions you have to know your customer. Try to understand him/her/it – what they love, hate, dream. All information is important for you to make suitable marketing for them. Think through all texts, pictures, colors. Use real things – real stories. Use this style in every activity you do in marketing (emailing, adds, blogs, websites, social media a.s.o).  You can leave your emotional mark everywhere.
