Ep. 82 Emotional Intelligence Pt 1 of 2 w/ Ayana Parham

https://play.goldenmicpodcast.com/0082_parham_li

Growing up, Ayana (Brody) Parham's family provided her experiences that activated lifelong curiosity, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a unique way of understanding the world. Those experiences have made her the coach she is now. As an adoptee,

Brody never needed to know her biological parents.

But it wasn't until she found out that her biological family was close to where she grew up and that she had siblings who were older than her that she started feeling resentful. It grew to anger that could only be navigated with a sophisticated level of emotional intelligence.

Those experiences have also made her the coach, a board-certified executive and leadership coach, that she is now.

If you have never met Brody, you'll love her wisdom, energy, and unapologetic perspective on the world.

Here are some highlights you don't want to miss:

09:15 - Brody's Journey

16:15 - Excuses People Make For A Lack of Emotional Intelligence

17:48 - Will Smith & Emotional Hijacking

28:19 - Emotional Intelligence & Professional Career
