Emoji: The new visual communication tools

Nowadays, digital communication is much more than typing out a few words or sentences and hitting send. Did you know that billions and billions of emojis are sent a day? So whatever you say, emojis are everywhere. Just look around on any popular social network and web pages. You can find them in every aspect of personal life, from online communications to advertising campaigns.

If you are an active phone user, then you are possibly pretty familiar with emojis. The usage and design of emojis look pretty simple, but there is a lot of potential in using these excitements in a creative manner. There is no instruction guide on how one must utilize the little realistic images.

Some people use the proper emoji after their text, such as a smiley face after the words, “I’m happy.” Others add a series of emojis that may even look unrelated to convey their happiness. How ever you want to express yourself through emojis is really up to you. There is no right or wrong way.

How to Get Emoji on Desktop/Laptop?

On Mac:

Command + Control + Space

This is the default shortcut to bring up the emoji keyboard. If this does not work, you might have a different key binding, in that case, go to Edit in the top menu bar and click on Emoji & Symbols.

On Windows: Access Emoji in Windows 10 Using On-Screen Keyboard

1)Right-click on the task-bar and select “Show touch keyboard button” from the context menu.

2) This will add a keyboard icon to the system tray. Just click that icon to open the touch keyboard.

3) Click the emoji button next to the space bar, and the alphabetical keys will convert into emoji keyboard.

4) Select whichever emoji you’d like to use and it’ll be inserted where you left your cursor.

Enjoy your emoji visual communication carefully because a vegetable is not always a vegetable, and using the wrong emoji could land you in a lot of hot water ????.
