Emirates Returns Airbus A380 On Houston Route

The last time the super jumbo visited Texas was in March 2020.Texans' welcomed the Emirates Airbus A380 aircraft back to?Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)?on December 1st. EK211 pushed back 30 minutes late from Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 10:15 to commence the 16-hour journey on the double-decker (registration A6-EUL). The aircraft touched down in Houston at 16:23.
Emirates plans to operate the route daily onboard its Airbus A380 as it continues to reintroduce the aircraft type on many international routes. Most recently,?New Zealand welcomed the A380?on December 2nd.

The upgrade of the aircraft on the route will represent a 70% increase in capacity. For December, Emirates will offer 7,224 seats between Houston and its Middle Eastern hub.
