The financial sector in the United Arab Emirates is experiencing a surge of Emirati talent, thanks in large part to the pioneering efforts of the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF).? Ethraa Programme Delivers Success

The recently launched Ethraa Programme (2022) aims to create 9380 job opportunities for UAE nationals in finance by 2026. In its first year, the program successfully trained 1839 citizens, achieving an impressive 84% success rate across over 20 specializations – exceeding inte

rnational benchmarks.

Standout achievements include 100% success rates in programming and cybersecurity. Two graduates, Sara Alansaari (Sukoon Insurance) and Sara Alsuwaidi (Daman Insurance), were even recognized as regional leaders in insurance.

EIF's commitment to Emiratization extends beyond the Ethraa Programme. In 2023, they facilitated the employment of 1100 UAE citizens in specialized financial roles. Additionally, over 80 citizens joined the Future-Tech Leaders Programme, and more than 100 participated in the Leadership Programme in collaboration with the University of Oxford.

Aligned with the UAE's vision of empowering Emiratis and driving a diversified, knowledge-based economy, EIF aims for a 45% Emiratization rate in banking and 30% in insurance by 2030.
