According to scientific evidence, the amount of greenhouse gases produced by humans—like carbon dioxide—determines how much the planet warms overall. In order to stop catastrophic climate change, these greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced. Researchers from the US and Sri Lanka have found that humans are using 73 percent more resources than the Earth produces in a year.
In order to slow down global warming, achieving "Net Zero" involves striking a balance between the emissions created and those that are removed from the atmosphere. Net zero emissions refers to a state where the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions produced is equal to the amount removed from the atmosphere.
To achieve Net Zero, which is necessary to stop the worst effects of climate change, means that human actions do not enhance global temperature in any net way. The Paris Agreement states that the world's objective is to reach Net Zero by 2050, which calls for a quick and significant change in the way that energy, transportation, agriculture, and other sectors are produced and used.
Net Zero presents an opportunity for innovation, growth, and prosperity in addition to being a scientific requirement. In order to achieve this, several technologies will play a crucial role. Some of the key technologies include:

These are just a few of the many technologies that will play a crucial role in achieving net zero emissions. By adopting and scaling these technologies, we can move towards a more sustainable and low-carbon future. In my view, the future beyond 2025 is going to be greener and sustainable as these emerging technologies would enable our transition to Net Zero. Net Zero is not only a necessity, but also a wave of innovation, development, and prosperity. The effectiveness and impact would rely on efficient collaboration between various stakeholders.
