Emergent Leadership

Emergent Leadership

You have changed. And, so has everyone else. Before we meet the others anew, we have an opportunity to consider what has awakened inside us. Poet David Whyte speaks about this time as “Getting ready to be ready.”

Can we be ready for what we can’t see? In our last online series, we spoke of resilience as “an unambivalent commitment to life” – a sense that no matter what comes, I will find the strength to emerge on the other side, or at least the strength to get out of bed in the morning.

Readiness for life. Perhaps this limbo we are in, caught between two places with no idea what will happen next, is the very place in which to get ready to emerge, transformed by both external circumstance and personal intention.

Join me, along with my colleague Laura Roccaforte, for our next online series, Emergent Leadership. We’ll explore these questions, and identify the threshold upon which you stand. How will you consciously shape the future, for yourself and those you lead?
