It is compulsory to create and maintain a safe working environment, and this includes conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and assign control measures. Pertaining to compliance with emergency arrangement, Oasis Enterprises conducted its regular medical emergency drill as part of its comprehensive safety protocols. Choking incidents can occur unexpectedly, following a foreign body obstructed airway (FBOA), and having well-prepared employees can help in mitigating potential risks to health. Medical Emergency drills provide a structured and proactive approach to equip our employees with the knowledge and skills needed to respond swiftly and effectively in case of an emergency. These drills do not only contribute to the mental preparedness but also maintain the overall safety culture within the organization.

Key points covered in the drill practice:

1. Education and Awareness: Educating employees about common choking hazard scenarios and proper first aid procedure taken to handle it, consistent with the relevant guidelines. Increased awareness empowers employees to identify potential emergencies and respond effectively.
2. Emergency Response Training: Conducting hands-on training sessions that simulate real-life scenarios and teaching employees the proper techniques for administering first aid and the Heimlich maneuver. This will activate confidence and promote team cohesion, where co-workers are trained to assist each other in times of need.

3. Proper Use of First Aid Equipment: Ensure that employees are familiar with and trained in the correct usage of first aid equipment designed to promote recovery in scenarios culminating to CPR. This included the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as hand gloves and pocket mask for rescue breath.
