Resilience is defined as the ability of human beings to adapt positively to adverse situations. The word “resilience” derives from the Latin resiliens, -entis, which means that it jumps up or jumps back, bounces, retreats and in its general meaning is described as “elasticity”.
The RAE1 defines it as the capacity of adaptation of a living being to a disturbing agent or an adverse state or situation or as the capacity of a material, mechanism or system to recover its initial state when the disturbance to which it had been subjected has ceased. .
Currently, with the advent of AI AI techniques, these have driven the processing of large amounts of information (“Big Data”), the recognition of abnormal behaviors or trends and complex decision making in the fields of medicine. , transport, communication, engineering, data analysis, digital banking, cybersecurity among many.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides technology to enhance human analysis and decision making by capturing knowledge in computers in ways that can be applied in critical situations, under restrictive scenarios and situations of uncertainty (“Constrained Optimization”). This gives users the ability to react to problems that require the analysis of massive data; demand and resilience in uncertain conditions and changing scenarios.
Resilient computing is a form of failover or failover (“fault tolerant”) that distributes redundant implementations or architectures of IT resources across physical locations. In computer science, the tolerance to faults or failover refers to the ability of a system to continue functioning, even in the event of a failure in the system.
IT resources can be preconfigured so that if one becomes deficient, the processing is automatically transferred to another implementation or redundant architecture. Within cloud computing (“Cloud Computing”), the resilience characteristic can refer to redundant IT resources within or between multiple clouds. Cloud resources can increase the reliability and availability of your applications by leveraging the flexibility of cloud-based IT resources.
The fusion of AI and cloud computing promises to be a source of innovation and a means to accelerate change. This evolutionary symbiotic relationship will transform the way companies operate and we interrelate human beings, in which the cloud can help provide Artificial Intelligence IA with the information it needs to learn, while the AI can provide the information that can give it to the cloud more data.
The combination of AI, machine learning, and data stored with technology means that both AI and humans can analyze and gather more data than ever before. AI becomes a ubiquitous part of our daily lives, and AI’s capabilities will only be improved by the development of cloud technology.
“In the cognitive age and of accelerated and disruptive changes, resilience is a capacity that will be highly demanded by business executives, a skill that helps the person, professional and organizations to recover quickly and effectively to any adversity, uncertainty and consequence.” of the market and even global catastrophe “
