EMC has recently re-invested into a new Summit lathe for continued support for the clients we serve where massive torque and varying speeds are required. Whether your DC machine is regenerating back to the grid or working hard to make the products for us to all enjoy, we've got the equipment and personnel for you. Pictured is the new lathe with an AC Synchronous Electric Motor rotor in it for final repairs before heading back out to keep America Great again so we can all enjoy the conveniences we have to comfortably live in America. This is just one of the many examples of recent upgrades EMC's ownership is interested in re-investing into for America's future.

This brand-new lathe can swing up to 50 in [127 mm] and fit 14 ft [14.267 m] between centers with a maximum weight capacity of 22,000 lb [9,979 kg], and it was spec'd out and purchased by Daniel Purcell who is the best machine shop manager out there and is also loyally serving EMC with his hard-earned expertise with an MBA background. Feel free to reach out to him directly on any questions pertaining to whether or not you think we can do the work. He's a very can-do type of guy, and I really enjoy solving puzzles for him.

We've recently set a record on a client's job they provided us with the opportunity to make a home run with a maximum of 0.0003" total TIR and 0.000045" maximum bar-to-bar variation in height. Yes, I did triple check the number of zeros. I am here to report the lowest reading we've been able to measure with our cool measurement technology we have these days.   • XRF Alloy Analyzer we can point, shoot, and tell you what the metallurgy is in a matter of seconds for the non-critical needs. Critical applications are validated through multiple 3rd party labs we've had business relationships with for decades to support our growing Commercial Nuclear Business we do in accordance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B.
