Embracing your invisible fans

Embracing your invisible fans

Feeling a bit discouraged by the seemingly low engagement on your posts??

Let's zoom out for a moment and think about the bigger picture.

Your perfect client, who truly resonates with you, is out there quietly consuming your content, without feeling the need to announce it to the world.

Picture this:

?? They read your latest post while sipping their morning coffee, for?a brief moment of inspiration before the day unfolds.

?? The Amazon delivery interrupts them?as they're engrossed?in your insights.?

?? They’re jumped on by cat/dog/kids causing them to stop mid-scroll.

?? Sitting in the car, they steal a moment to browse through your updates before the chaos of the day takes over.

?? Or perhaps, they delved into your content whilst stealing a moment of peace and the?kettle just boiled.

The truth is, engagement isn't always loud and immediate.

It's this quiet impact that truly matters.

As a fellow introvert, you understand the beauty of deep connections.

Your perfect people may not always engage outwardly, but they're absorbing your content in a way that's meaningful to them.?

They're waiting for the right moment, the moment when they feel the need to reach out, to connect, to let you know that your words have made a difference.

So keep showing up, even when you think no one's watching.

Your introverted magic lies in the sincerity of your message, the authenticity you bring to your work, and the quiet ripple effect you're creating.?

Remember, you just never know who's quietly following your journey.

Here's to embracing the power of subtle connections and finding strength in our introverted ways.

Here's a little secret: 90% of my clients have been invisible fans, so keep going — they're there, listening, and waiting for the right moment to connect.

"Always be generous with your encouraging words. You may find they will inspire others to be the best they can be."

This is a really useful reminder to keep going - a lot of the topics psychologists talk about in social media may not the posts that people want to like as it’s an obvious sign to others that the topic is relevant somehow… the personal issues covered in posts are exactly that for a lot of people -personal and hidden… but for psychologists who are struggling with this social media game it can be disheartening to post and not get much interaction… but this post of a valuable reminder to keep going. I had a completely new person to me post such a lovely review about my posts this week that it literally took me a few minutes to process…people are watching and those who are benefitting will keep accessing the content and information … loving your work Anita - don’t stop x

Anita Popat, a few years ago I got an invitation from a member of one of my LinkedIn Groups. In the personalized invite she wrote (in danish) "I have been a member of your group for some months now. I want to let you know how much I appreciate your knowledge sharing in the group even though I never interact with your posts. Would you like to connect?" (translated from danish) Content with very few views may never lead to new customers, but there is indeed potential clients among the silent readers - or fans as you name them ??

I've found this so much lately. I think no one is seeing what I'm doing but when I've spoken to people they've been telling me what they've seen.
