Embracing Unity and Equality: Mahashivaratri and International Women's Day

In the Malay romantic novel "Adam dan Hawa" by Aisya Sofea, I read that Eve was made of Adam's ribs, meaning Eve is not above nor below Adam but a compliment to Adam, where the author beautifully portrays the notion that women are neither above nor below men but stand side by side, complementing each other in equal partnership. This sentiment underscores the intrinsic value and dignity of women, highlighting their indispensable contributions to society.
