Suppression, a deliberate act to stifle thoughts, ideas, or behaviours, manifests in various shapes and sizes. However, the most repugnant form of suppression unveils its insidious grip, exposing the dark underbelly of control. This manipulative force perpetuates harm, only to postpone the inevitable backlash and consequences.

The attempts to manipulate the narrative by silencing critics and suppressing those who don't conform to the dominant agenda are often transparent to us. We see through the thinly veiled and sometimes overt tactics employed to control the discourse and stifle diverse perspectives.

It's time to take a stand and step up. If we genuinely aspire to build diverse, inclusive, and equitable communities and cultures, we must commit to honouring truth, fostering free expression, and embracing authenticity.
