The increasing popularity of coconut-based products is indeed a huge success for the industry but along with it is the demand for traceability and ethical sourcing.?

At Oleo-Fats, we believe that offering the widest variety of coconut-based products is not enough. Being transparent about our coconuts’ organic origins is also of utmost importance, if we are to support businesses and people’s green lifestyle.?

We also recognize the purchasing shift among our consumers, as they become more conscious about the production of consumer goods. Simply put, more businesses and individuals would like to be informed about the environmental attributes of the products they are using. And rightfully so, they have every reason to know where our products came from and how they are sourced. Sustainability and traceability of manufacturers matter to them.??

As of this writing, efforts for a sustainable coconut oil supply chain have already started. Joining the Sustainable Coconut & Coconut Oil Roundtable is just the first step. Currently, all of our organic certified coconut products are traceable to farms, and this traceability is slowly expanding to the conventional production of coconut oil. In the coming years, we aim to further uplift our farmer-partners’ livelihoods and ensure that they grow along with the whole industry.????????
