Embracing the No's: My Journey to a Bulletproof Mindset

Embracing the No's: My Journey to a Bulletproof Mindset

Hey Trailblazers!

For today's edition I've got something on my mind that I think might resonate with you.

Last year I had the pleasure of diving deep into the concept of a bulletproof mindset with Lisa Goldenthal on her podcast, WholeCEO.

And, oh boy, did we unpack some truths that hit home for me and, I believe, could do the same for you.

I shared a bit about my journey, one riddled with rejection and no's.

Over 200,000 by the time I was 22, to be exact.

Sounds daunting, right?

But here's the kicker: each no was a stepping stone to where I am today.

It's easy to get bogged down by rejection, to feel like you're stuck in quicksand,

but the secret to getting out isn't to struggle more,

it's to remain calm and learn from it.

The struggle, as I like to say, is real.

But the silver lining?

Every struggle comes with a FREE gift: called a lesson.

This perspective has been a game-changer for me, transforming potentially paralyzing obstacles into invaluable learning opportunities.

It's about extracting those lessons and using them to forge ahead, stronger and wiser.

Reflecting on my past, it's clear that dwelling on the negatives could have easily led me down a path of victimhood and scarcity mindset.

But dwelling isn't in my nature.

Reflect, yes.

Dwell, never.

This mindset shift from seeing myself as a victim of my circumstances to a proactive learner and doer has been pivotal.

And here's something I want you to think about:

How often do you take a moment to reflect on your challenges and actively seek out the lessons they're teaching you?

It doesn't have to be a grandiose yearly ritual.

Regular, honest reflection can illuminate paths forward you might not have noticed before.

So, what's your quicksand?

And what lessons are you pulling from it to build your bulletproof mindset?

I'd love to hear your thoughts and stories.

Your journey, struggles, and victories are what make YOU a powerhouse of inspiration and resilience.

Let's keep the conversation going.

Stay strong, stay resilient, and remember, every no is not a stop sign but a redirection towards your success.

Keep blazing your own trail!
