Embracing the Mirror of Truth in life: Transforming Problems into Opportunities.

Embracing the Mirror of Truth in life: Transforming Problems into Opportunities.

Every now and then, life holds up a mirror of truth before us. It can be a fleeting moment or a profound life experience, but it always reveals who we truly are at that particular point in our lives. Often, these moments manifest as challenges of varying degrees and dimensions.

We've been taught that during these moments, we should change the image reflected before us and envision someone better, greater than who we are. If we see a cat, we should imagine ourselves as mighty roaring lions; if we see a stream, we should picture a great thundering river; if we feel weak, we should conjure up strength; if we perceive ourselves as poor, we should visualize riches. The common belief is that through this process, we will eventually become what we imagine. However, there's a different perspective.

We've become obsessed with the doctrine of manifestation, where it's suggested that what we imagine becomes our reality. This is often touted as the law of attraction—our thoughts become things, and so on. But what I've learned suggests a different path. Life will test us, and sometimes it feels like even a higher power, call it God or the universe, is putting us through these trials. It's similar to school; passing the test leads to elevation in our lives.

The mirror of truth reflects who we are, unvarnished and unaltered. Instead of trying to change this image, we should face it as it is and accept it as our truth. The test is not to dismiss or ignore it; it's about moving forward with the knowledge of who we are. If we see ourselves as selfish, we must accept it and address it truthfully. It's only then that genuine elevation can occur.

What we often perceive as problems are actually reflections of what needs fixing within us, not in others or our external circumstances. The mirror of truth beckons us, inviting us to confront our true selves. It says, "Come, my child, let's discover who you really are. Are you ready?" Our excited response should be, "Yes, I'm ready! Show me myself now!" And just like that, the journey begins.

When we start fixing what needs fixing within ourselves, we embrace the test positively. We don't ask for another image; we make amends to what's within our power to change. As we do this, a miracle unfolds: our perception of external conditions improves, others respond positively, and the universe responds in kind. It's then that the true miracle happens.

Let's view problems as opportunities to succeed rather than difficulties to endure. When we avoid the test, we may find ourselves facing it again in the future, and perhaps repeatedly. Unfortunately, the more we avoid solving problems within our control, the larger they tend to become. The sooner we confront them with a positive attitude, the more successful we become.

This attitude—the determination to triumph in life, the willingness to rise above problems—is what I refer to as The true spirit. It's the key to transforming problems into opportunities and embracing the mirror of truth as a guiding light on our path to self-growth.

Harry, this is so profound! I recall the moment in my life between mid 2020 to late 2021, I was brought back to earth with some life's difficulties. It almost took a toll on me but somehow I resist the urge to give up. I made through that storm with faith and rose up again.. The lessons you shared above are truly life-changer! Thank you.
