Embracing life's transitions: unleashing clarity and confidence for heart-led leaders

Hey, fellow clarity seeker and champion of confidence, it's been some time since I shared an article with you!

Today I would like to invite you to explore with me the transformative power of embracing life's transitions.

Let's dive deep into the realms of self-discovery, authenticity, and personal growth.

But before we embark on this enriching journey, I want to share about a recent experience that beautifully connects with our theme today.

Yesterday, in the hot mid-day hours, I attended a group healing session as the receiver of positive energy from the circle. During the skilfully guided process, I felt strong energy and visual metaphors appeared before my closed eyes, accompanied by tangible body sensations.

I was in the centre of an energetic chariot wheel, in the hollow space for the wheel's axle, while everyone else from the support circle was at the perimeter, connected with each other as well as with me through energy lines, likewise the spikes of the wheel.

I "pushed" (in my mind) the wheel to set it in motion - but it would not move. It felt a bit rusty and rigid. And I gave up, curious to see what would unfold.

The next part of the experience was seeing the rigid stationery wheel transform into a torus of bright energy, spinning in all three dimensions. I was still in the centre, and I felt I became a vessel of powerful flow of cosmic energy - moving through me, opening wider the space in the centre of the torus.

A few hours after the session, the leader of the process shared with me something, that seemed to him - as well as seems to me - so relevant - Verse 11 from Tao The Ching, the book written by the Chinese Taoist philosopher Lao Tse:

"We join thirty spokes

to the hub of a wheel,

yet it’s the center hole

that drives the chariot."

I decided to explore it further, and came to the essence of wisdom, drawn from this and two other metaphors in the same verse: "Something is shaped into what is, but its usefulness comes from what is not."

Let me explore further.

My curiosity arose and I went to check another Eastern Wisdom classic - I Ching, the Book of Changes. I followed the hint - number 11 - and went to read about the 11th hexagram known as T'ai, or "Peace".

What I discovered truly fascinated me.

This hexagram symbolises a time of transition and transformation. It represents Earth above Heaven, ease of the flow, the understanding that true peace and harmony come from embracing change with an open heart and mind.

Just as we discussed in the live Heartfelt Conversations last week on the topic of Transitions (you can watch it also on Youtube here), cultivating the habit to be in full presence and self-awareness amidst diversity, without attachment and projections, helps consciously develop and nurture clarity and confidence. And this enables us to walk our authentic life path with grace and purpose.

Now, let's dive into how clarity and confidence can light our way.

Embrace Change and Embrace Yourself:

Life is a magnificent tapestry of changes and transitions. Some changes bring excitement, while others might make us feel uneasy. However, within each transition lies an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. Whether it's a career shift, a new relationship - with others as well as with ourselves (so often neglected), or a spiritual awakening, embracing change with a spirit of power and peace, allows us to uncover our dormant powers and talents, raise our self-awareness and step into the fullest expression of ourselves.
