Embracing the Legacy: Life Lessons from a Loved One

Dear Papa,

I?believe?I missed?appreciating and loving you enough when you were here, it hurts the most to realise that?will never get a chance to express it to you… ever again.?

So writing it here hoping?that the universe will convey in its own way.?When?I sit back and think what was your life all about,?I can think of a few very basic but strong principles which?I?promise to?inherit.?

Simple thinking, I have observed you when?you have lived your life with such simplicity, faith to have only love and?gratitude, not only for Humans, God but also for technology... your?belief on world being full of good and helpful people was very evident when we were bidding you final?goodbye:(.. now?I?know, why you have always taken things so easily and smoothly.?

Heard-work, something that?I was?first told by the people who knew you and later when?I was old enough have experienced my self, You?would get up and start working from 5 am in?until?12 at night.?I still remember you raising us 3 tirelessly! encouraging every small activity to make us progressive and modern citizens of the world:)?I am not sure how were you motivated!! or how much you loved your family to work so hard. Yet be so happy being around us to dance, have fun and plan exciting vacations.

Giving, I have?never seen you expecting any thing from others, even at the toughest time,?you always have had intensions to give, not only in kind but also in terms of happiness.. planning and doing??things?even?for far friends / relatives so?that it would make them happy.. we used to be so?irritated then, which now I understand and regret.?

Surrender, inspite struggled life, your fait in god was?consistent, I?have seen you?surrendering to god every hard time, trusting almighty to help and show path.?Magically?it worked every single time.?Your?belief, you being a small part of much larger truth was very evident, when?I?look back and see your life’s journey till the end.?

While you are gone, your way of living is going to be with me and our family. I know you are at a very happy and?peaceful place. But deeply miss times around you.?Hoping this pain will ease with time.?
