Embracing a Journey of Growth, Learning, and Excellence

Over the past 25 years, I have embarked on an enriching career journey in project management, business development and the Inspection Industry, obtaining 35 specialized Licenses and Certifications focused on Residential and Commercial Building Inspections, leading me to conduct over 10,000 inspections across a multitude of locations across the U.S.

My career has been more than just inspections; I've been entrusted with the privilege of managing multifaceted projects both within the U.S. and overseas. These projects have included everything from residential and commercial building inspections, to environmental assessments, energy efficiency evaluations, and even exploring innovative construction methods. In particular, I've been able to play a vital role in spearheading disaster recovery construction initiatives in Puerto Rico, Texas, and Florida, a role that allowed me to contribute directly to the rebuilding of resilient communities.

Not to mention that I've been able to oversee more than 20,000 Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program inspections, a vital contribution to nationwide energy efficiency efforts. And one of my favorite's, managing a project for Military Housing Safety Inspections, to provide safer housing for our Military families.

As a licensed Indiana Home Inspector and a Certified International Code Council Building Official, I've achieved 29 of those 35 qualifications from the International Code Council. This ongoing pursuit of knowledge continually reinforces the importance and value of lifelong learning in our ever-evolving industry.

I've been fortunate enough to share my knowledge and experience through developing and executing training programs for industry stakeholders, earning me two Real Estate Instructor Permits from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. Additionally, I've had the honor of serving on numerous industry boards, contributing to the passage of crucial legislation for Home Inspector licensing in the State of Indiana.

Reflecting on my journey, every experience, interaction, and challenge has shaped my professional growth. As I stand before you today, seeking new opportunities, I'm thrilled at the prospect of applying my wealth of experience in roles demanding technical proficiency, project management skills, and dedication to industry enhancement.

Looking ahead, I'm excited about my personal growth targets, including attaining my PMP and becoming an ICC Certified Fire Marshal. These aspirations exemplify my commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and the pursuit of excellence.
