The Early Days

My journey began over 30 years ago as an application specialist and evolved to roles such as Leader Industry Services PMO and Engineering Applications Director. I spearheaded complex projects, ensuring technological advancements and strategic growth. Yet, recurring challenges like missed deadlines led to frustration and sleepless nights. I soon realized the real challenge was managing people and expectations, not just technology.

The Turning Point

In 2008, I founded Kabera Consulting Inc. , focusing on project and program consulting. Launching my business during the 2008 financial recession was a bold move, but it underscored my resilience and determination. For the next 16 years, I led numerous initiatives, navigating complexities and achieving goals for various organizations. One significant milestone was taking on challenging programs in China and Japan for a top European software company, where I earned the respect of elite customers. However, in 2022, I felt a deeper calling toward coaching, leading to the rebranding of my company as Kabera Consulting & Coaching in 2024. This new direction integrated my extensive experience with a newfound passion for coaching.

The Decision to Transition

Transitioning to professional coaching required courage and stepping out of my comfort zone. My why was clear: I want project leaders and business owners to live their best lives, achieving the results and impacts they desire. This drive also led me to become a BOS360 coach, a choice driven by its holistic focus on Vision, Momentum, and Healthy dimensions. BOS360 balances business goals with sustainable growth and employee well-being, aligning perfectly with my mission. Founding Kabera Consulting & Coaching, I aimed to help tech professionals and small to medium-sized business owners achieve delivery excellence and peace of mind.
